Raharja Energi Cepu

REC began its business journey in 2006 as part of a larger company focused on consultancy and capital services. A significant turning point occurred when REC was acquired by Rukun Raharja.

Along with the acquisition, REC began to transform and focus its business on the upstream oil and gas sector. REC also established a strategic partnership by forming PT Petrogas Jatim Utama Cendana (PJUC) in collaboration with the East Java Regional-Owned Enterprise (BUMD). This partnership further strengthened REC's position in the Cepu Block and created opportunities for collaboration with other regional enterprises.

Subsequently, together with Rukun Raharja, REC successfully acquired an 8% Participating Interest in the Jabung Working Area in Jambi through its subsidiary, PT Raharja Energi Tanjung Jabung.

Long-term contracts in the Cepu Block and Jabung Block provide excellent prospects for REC's future growth. This enables REC to continue contributing to meeting national energy needs while strengthening its position as a key player in the upstream oil and gas industry.
